Masna
Hello all! I'm currently trying to Vista Pre-RC1 (build 5536) with Boot Camp. I already have a Windows partition (via Boot Camp) from awhile back when I installed XP. I'm trying to run the "Start Windows Installer..." option, but whenever I click the "Start Installation" button, Boot Camp tells me it can't find an Windows disc. Do I have to do something special to the disc's contents so that it will be recognized as an XP disc? Thanks! (BTW, I burned this DVD disc like a regular disc, via Finder.) windohs
get a free iso burner, or use nero do an md5 checksum on the vista iso to check if it's valid Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26604-disc-not-recognized-vista/#findComment-180581 Share on other sites
00se7en
every burning program is different but i'm guessing you chose an option like "burn data disc" and just dragged the iso on there. most programs also have an option like "burn disc from image file". you want that option, then it will prompt you to select the iso file. Pantalaimon
use Toast 7 in the upper side of the window, select copy, and in the left side select image file and drag the .iso to the drag zone, select burn, always use x1 or x2 burning speed for vista..
