It say: Failed to configure a linklocal adress on Lo0 Lo0 failed to attach linklocal adress Still waiting for root device I have configure the bumpers after the instruction on the harddrive but it doesnt work. Romaric Posted September 2, 2006 Author Share Posted September 2, 2006 The AMD-patch only, i skipped everything else. I skipped the "owned"-pack too, can that be answer why it doesnt work? My compuer specs: AMD Athlon64 3000+ 1024 Mb RAM (512 x 2) ATI Radeon 9250 128 Mb 40 GB IDE USB Mouse and keyboard.. Whats the problem? cbmkgd Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 Your athlon64 3000 is the venice (with sse3), or the older one without sse3? You'd then have to select the sse3 patch, or not, depending on your configuration. Also, the custom packages are there for good reasons; avoid only those you're sure you don't need. Try using ps/2 mouse and keyboard, at least for the time of installation.
