Actually that is the case. Without programs like Chameleon and brains that went into developing it and the people who know how to manipulate the source...this would not be possible.

Yes it was surprisingly easy, two years ago when I decided to try OSX86 I installed iPC 10.5.6 because installing retail disk seemed to be too complicated, worked with it for a few weeks and came back to windows.

A month ago I decided to install OSX86 again so I installed iATKOS S3 10.6.3 (and later upgraded to 10.6.8) because I didn't wanted to deal with extra boot cd and kexts because I wasn't sure what exactly do I need.

 

Few days ago I saw "Still Win Fan" guide to install retail Lion and that was surpassingly easy (although I made a mistake at the beginning), and now I have perfectly working retail Lion.
