i203msneedhelp Posted August 11, 2011 Share Posted August 11, 2011 i have windows xp host and im using wmware to virtualize macosx but i have a big problem. i can't get my usb stick to show up inside the guest OS aka the mac osx. i pressed wm>removable devices> the usb i want > connect and it still don't work. i tried removing and re-adding the usb controller and nothing works... i203msneedhelp Posted August 13, 2011 Author Share Posted August 13, 2011 i figured out the problem. it's hard for me cause i've never used mac osx or VMware before, this is my first time. on top of that i did not even use the retail leopard disc but i used 10.6.6 hazard, so i really did not know it the problem lied with the the hazard 10.6.6 or if it was WMware itself. i found out the problem was with the usb kext, i need to do the usb rollback thing, so i downloaded [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], rollbacked the usb kext, repaired cache and permissions and now WMware recognizes external storage.
