mac_carol
Hi, I've just installed the Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Retail (build 11A511) | Untouched and it runs flawlessly But when I try to update it via Software Update the SU always states that “Your software is up to date” and the update failed I am wondering about what is happening Any help would be kindly appreciated. Noisema
Maybe it's because there aren't any software updates available? To test if software update is working correctly you might install old versions of software (like iLife, iWork or Office for Mac for instance) and run the software update again. If it starts updating the software it all works ok Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265187-software-update-always-states-%E2%80%9Cyour-software-is-up-to-date%E2%80%9D/#findComment-1732659 Share on other sites
