Install on Ibm/Lenovo M57e 6086 A2U

hi everyone,

I already have an IBM M51 with osx 10.4.6 retail installed.

 

I have another with this Hardware:

Lenovo THINKCENTRE M57e 6086-A2U

intel core 2 duo E6550@2.33 GHz

Video Intel Q35 (GMA3100?) Express Chipset Family

Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit eht

4 GB DDR2 RAM

High def Audio AD1988 (soundmax ago?)

I managed to install only tiger 10.4.6 retail

other versions without success

I have the exact system running here with SL and Lion. Everything seems to work rather well even sleep.

 

The graphics card at the time I built the system wasn't supported and I put in a 8400GS instead. It's a work machine so i don't need super graphics.

 

For the network card i use the IntelE1000e driver and it works well.

 

For the sound card i just use VooDooHDA.

 

The key i found was getting the DSDT setup correctly. After that things just worked.

I'm trying to get SL on my Lenovo M55 (extremely similar specs) but cannot get past the "searching for device with UUID..." thing. Any advice on how to set up the DSDT properly? Once I get the thing to boot then I'm golden, I'm sure...
