xxmacmanxx
So, sorry to annoy you guys, but I need your help as I'm a total noob. Mald0n, who fixed my DSDT, linked me to a thread by flAked, who made a AICPUPM.kext SpeedStep fix for ASUS P67 boards, because my AICPUPM.kext always gives me a KP. BUT I don't have an ASUS Board. I have a MSI H67MA-E35 (B3) board. I asked Mald0n if he's sure that the speed stepper will work and he said yes, so I read through his thread, which brought me to some ACPI tables or sth. for ASUS boards and an i7-2600k CPU.. But I didn't understand a word, so I need your help! To sum it up: I have an MSI H67MA-E35 (B3) main board and an i5-2500K CPU. What am I expected to do now to get speed stepping and my AICPUPM.kext to work so that i don't need the NullCPUPowerManagment.kext anymore? Thanks! xxmacmanxx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264458-speedstepping-for-msi-h67ma-e35-b3/ Share on other sites

flAked
Oh my, MSI seems to have the same "bug", oh well. Use SpeedStepper to patch your AICPUPM, it should load without problems. Don't forget to recreate your caches after patching. Will your ACPI Tables work? flAked
I'm afraid not, those are specifically for the Asus P8P67, but there will be a more generic method soon. xxmacmanxx
Ok, no problem. I noticed that my sleep works now as well, forced sleep, unfortunately, auto-sleep doesn't.
