Ririholic
Can't login to FaceTime, gives me an error “Server Encountered An Error Processing Registration. Please Try Again Later.” I tried boot with Chameleon RC5 r755 and EthernetBuiltIn in com.boot.apple.plist and even tried adding new key for FaceTime in Keychain Access. It worked fine on Snow Leopard. Anyone know how to fix it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264432-facetime-problem/ Share on other sites
Mr Giggles
This issue seems to be related to the App Store "Unable to verify account" issue (widely reported here & on apple forums). People have suggested it seems to be a problem with the network configurations. Possible solutions: delete your network preferences from /Library/Preferences/SystemPreferences Delete your network adapter in System Preferences reboot re-add network adapter in System Preferences Try a different kext for your particular adapter Try a different hex string / enabler. There are many other suggestions/solutions out there. YMMV. Neither are working for me, in using Intel8256MM and neither work for me. HELLFISH
You have to use chameleon v755. For some reason, only version which works with initial FaceTime registration for some reason. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=261423 After you set it up, you can then upgrade to a newer version of chameleon. I tried, but I'm stuck at Apple Logo and spinning wheel, it won't boot. HELLFISH
remember that if you downgrade chameleon to older version, org.chameleon.boot.plist must be renamed to com.apple.boot.plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264432-facetime-problem/#findComment-1731940 Share on other sites
