brif8 Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I recently upgraded to 10.6.8 Now when I boot normally My screen has random speckled white blocks and then goes black with random white lines on the top 1/4 of the screen If I boot using -v -x It now says under System Profiler Type GPU (should be ATI 4350 Bus PCIe VRAM 3MB (should be 1024) Vendor ATI (0x1002) Device ID 0x954f Revision ID 0x000 Resolution 1024 x 768 1) It is stuck in a single resolution I need a bigger resolution 2) It does not show the correct amount of Memory 3MB should be 1GB card 3) in safe mode I have NO audio, was ALC888 but System Profiler now says Device ID 892 that's all Any help greatly appreciated Thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
