Moskar
Hi, i'm obviously new here and I think this is the right section... I'm not a complete fool when it comes to computers but i do know fairly a lot about them... I've been trying to install Hazard Snow leopard on my PC and all goes so well until we reach the apple logo... now, the thing is that with boot flag it doesn't show a message? it just instantly restarts? So I have no idea what the hell is causing the problem... My spec is: Nvidia Geforce 8400GS Intel Pentium 4 3.60ghz 2gb ram DDR2 D-Link DGE-528T Ethernet Adapter Intel D945GNT I install hazard using these kernels: cham pcefi 10.5 legacy kernal graphic enabler apple azalia audio ktlh139 ethernet apple rtc datafamily_fix <-- forgotten the name of it smbiosresolver x11 rosetta and quicktime Please help I've been going through countless dvd's and only this hazard one seems to be working any better then the others... stargazer418
Have you tried booting with -v to see if any errors show? EDIT: Try using a different bootloader. Try Chameleon RC4, that's a good, stable one. stargazer418
It's something to do with your CPU and chipset. I had the same issue when I tried any bootloaders other than Chameleon. M92ManTis
If I'm right, the last line when booting with -v should be: Starting Darwin/x86 and instant reboot. It's something to do with the busratio... try busratio=20 -v . This error is also known as a reboot loop. If busratio=20 -v doesn't help, google something like 'reboot loop on (mobo name)'. It should help. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/263767-instant-kernel-panic-with-no-error/#findComment-1725232 Share on other sites
