Hi,

After getting OSX working on my laptop (easy, GMA915 and Intel based...) I would like to install it on my new computer which is a big problem.

When I start with the CD (1.0.4.6) I only get the white screen with the grey apple. The CD is used during few minutes then stop but nothing change (the circle under the apple keep rotate...)

Here is my configuration :

Asus M2N32 SLI Deluxe (nforce 590)

AMD Athlon X2 4600

Sata Hard Drive

Geforce 7950GX2

2 GB DDR2

I've try to remove the Sata HDD and to use a IDE HDD but it doesn't change anything...

Is there a boot option to use, or something else ?

Hi there, my friend has a similar setup to you.

M2N32-SLI deluxe with X2 3800+, SATA + PATA discs

He used the goatsecx 10.4.6 ISO, installing on to a PATA disc (the nForce 590's SATA does not appear to be recognised). Under the extra customise options, he checked only the 10.4.6 update (intel). Installed successfully.

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any support for the 590's built in LAN. forcedeth recognises the adapters, and even their MAC addresses, but does not seem to enable them - there is no link light etc...

Does anyone have any ideas?

Wish I had some answers, but I don't.

I'm trying to get the SATA controller working with my nForce 570. I believe it should be the same controller for all the 500 series chipsets, but I could be wrong. I'll let you know if I can come up with any answers.

I second that, anyone attempted to get LAN working properly with nForce 590 Tritium boards? or has JaS' 10.4.8 included support for it? I've been so out of touch with the osx86 scene lately, but ever since this Titan kext business, I've suddenly regained an interest :)

If forcedeth partially recognizes the adapter, it probably wouldn't take too much effort to fix it; it's times like these I wish I knew code.
