I tried to upgrade Lion to Server edition from inside VMware. After removal of ServerVersion.plist from core Service folder, I was able to D/L then load up Server installation. However, near the end, where it tries to configure services, it just hang in there and unable to complete. I even left the "machine" over night, still no dice. Frustrated, I switched off the machine, upon reboot, it recognized the machine as a Server but no active services.

Any clue?

There must be a way
