jangoux
Hello everyone, I am trying to install Lion (Retail) on my newly bought computer (Gigabyte H55N USB3, 2GB of Corsair Value Ram, Zotac 7200GS Graphics card), but for some odd reason, I can't get USB to work on the Lion installation, so my keyboard and mouse stop working. I am using the latest Chameleon RC5 (1200-something ; but have tried a lot of versions from 800-something), tried USBBusFix=Yes, tried FakeSMC on the /E/E folder on the Lion install partition, but got nothing. Also tried turning 'Legacy USB' on and off on the BIOS, tried disabling USB3 on the BIOS, tried the keyboard and mouse on many USB ports (I am using it on the USB2 ports, btw) and I get nothing. THe keyboard works fine before it, I can use it on the BIOS, controlling Chameleon, etc, but after a while when the installation is being loaded, the keyboard lights just turn off and it stops working. This happens just after Darwin Kernel 11.0, AppleACPICPU, etc, are loaded. Btw, I Installed it once, by running the installation from another system, and the same thing happens when Lion is installed. I managed to make it work ONCE, by using the DSDT.aml (copied it using another computer) found on Tonymac's DSDT database. Unfortunately, the system gives a Kernel Panic right after it loads. Any ideas? Should I try installing Windows to see if USB works fine? Thanks, Ivan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/263371-cant-get-keyboardmouse-usb-on-lion-install/ Share on other sites
