starcast306 Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 Hello, i have a HP DC7900 convertible minitower with 4GB RAM, Processor- E8400 3.00GHZ Video Card- ATI RAEDON 4670 with one dvi port and 2 display ports http://www.guru3d.com/imageview.php?image=14910 For months I`ve been trying to install snow leopard (iatkos s3 v2 10.6.8) on my pc and my attempts have been succesful for the most part but i cant normally boot it i have to boot it with -v , i also have leopard (iatkos v7) 10.5.8 booting normally with the internet and sound working, The one huge problem is my display, i can only get it up to 1600x1200, my monitor`s native display is 1920x1200 and i watch movies and tv shows very frequently so the resolution does bother me , i tried installing these kexts but no good ATI_Radeon_4670_DV_I_only_SL_10.6.6.zip Also on leopard my quicktime doesn`t work either, and on both snow leopard and leopard vlc player has no video or sound, your help would be greatly appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/263161-ati-4670-dvi-not-working-very-frustrated/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Are you using GraphicsEnabler in your /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist file?
