onelegend Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 I installed OS X using Nawcom ModCD and the retail Snow Leopard disk Once I install those, I use The OSX 10.6.7 Combo Update to get the system to 10.6.7 After that, I can't seem to get the Bootloaders or the GFX card to work properly. I've tried using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to install [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and Chameleon. The [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] worked, and Chameleon installed, but it does not give me options boot. Just had a list that states boot0: test boot0: GPT boot0: test boot0: test boot0: GPT boot0: test boot0: test boot0: error I also tried to use tonymac's nvidia 2.1.0 Graphics installer, but it doesn't work. The installer completes, but when I restart the system, it still looks like there are no GFX kext loaded. Any solutions? jw382 Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 I have L501X as well. The error means that you had a GPT disk. Boot into Windows and use a partition manager to convert the GPT disk back into MBR disk.
