Line6 recently released Gearbox software for OSX, both PPC and Intel. Tried it, and it installed fine. But when i connect the Guitarport with USB to my OSx86 system, the application wont find it. morbidangel Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 Im using the Toneport and had the same problem in the beginning but now it rocks and works every time without any Problems. I tired numerous things and dont know exactly what I had to do to get it working but here is a list of things I tried : - Reinstall the driver with the "uninstall utility" and use that to fully remove the driver after that reinstall the driver - dont use external usb directly plug it into your Hackintosh - is your PSU ok and big enough ? In Monkey i see a "?" for USB Firmware ... Any other ideas ? minion187 Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 my GuitarPort worked A-OK with both Tiger 10.4.9 and Leopard 10.5.1. the only issue, i have to unplug the usb and plug it back in after boot because it doesn't activate for some reason during boot up. after that, it's detected and works just fine.
