Maybe some other folks have this board

 

CPU: Q660

Graphics Card: Sapphire HD 6450 512MB DDR5; was EVGA 8600 GTS up until 10.6.5 (week ago)

 

The first thing you need is a working install of OS X. If you have that, skip this paragraph. Download Kalyway 10.5.2 (there may be something newer that works with these boards now; it's still what i use), burn & install.

 

1. Use this guide made for the EP45UD3P and works with our boards.

 

2. Audio is ALC888 on these boards. Use this guide to get it working

 

That's it! Software Update works

 

 

Extra:

Graphics: I use DisplayConfigX (it won’t work in eval. mode) to get my monitor to display the correct refresh rate (Sony SDM-S81, 1280×1024 @ 85 Hz), it flickers otherwise. In DisplayConfigX choose ‘Allow all system resolutions’, pick the one for your monitor.

& for the 6450, QE/CI started working after updating from 10.6.5 to 10.6.8
