wondergod
ummm...I have a dv1520 and it has the monitor plug on the left hand side... if you have a dv1000t series i dunno and my laptop keyboard and trackpad work fine... as far as i know the only real diff between the different dv1000 series is the processor speed, hard drive and dvd burner... Rammjet
I posted a potential fix above. In some laptops, OSX has a problem detecting the internal LCD. To get around this you must give it an external monitor or fool it to think an external monitor is attached. So, try attaching an external monitor or a VGA adapter (dongle) to the VGA port or try the 2-wire trick: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?ac...ost&id=1522 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26208-its-error-during-the-installation-with-my-laptop/#findComment-177866 Share on other sites

wondergod
its not wire...its a simple paperclip...one of the smaller ones...took me 5 minutes to make mine... by the way you must keep it in there lik everytime you boot and not just when you install Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26208-its-error-during-the-installation-with-my-laptop/#findComment-177892 Share on other sites
