Flash21
I have been following dilnalomo's" [HowTo] XP + OSX 10.4.4-10.4.7 native dual boot, NO VMWare, no Linux, no Chain0 required. With pictures" topic. I have the booter installed and running, and I have tried two diferent methods of partitioning.. HardDrive 1: (160) C: 76gb NTFS / E: 76 Gb Fat32 Pri/Act / Pri HardDrive 2: (160) D: 150gb Fat32 Pri/Act One method had the E: as NTFS (with my data I don't want destroyed) and one had D: as NTFS (same) and the other was Fat32 in both cases My Dvd booted into setup flawlessly, got past the eula and it see's no drives... I opened up Disk Utilities ... all it sees is the osX disk. By some strange turn of events ... one of the drives in my tivo just died today (so i'm getting a new tivo) ... I could pull the good one, format it and use it as an IDE osx partition (if I have to...) I'de kinda like to avoid using IDE though.. anyway.. any help is truely appriciated. Thanks Tons. -Flash --------------System--------------- A8N VM CSM (bios: 901) AMD 3200+ Venice E6 1024mb Crucial 400mhz (dual chan) Lite-On 16x DVD RW Western Digital Sata 160gb (D:) Sata Chan 2; Western Digital Sata2 160gb (C:) Sata Chan 0; Asus En7600gs Silent Pci-Express Nvidia Gfx. Flash21
Update: I pulled the 80gb from my Tivo.. and installed that. Got OSX running and am about to patch a few drivers onto it (mainly network.. so i can do this without having to switch back and forth ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26198-cant-see-harddrives/#findComment-177504 Share on other sites

dtm3dd
There have been other reports suggesting that OSX doesnt like large partitions on SATA - try installing it on quite a small partition (you can always use the left over space on your hard drive to store files in another FAT 32 partition.
