Akisonfire Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 So i managed to install and now i`m actually typing from my OSX86 The iAtkos S3 V2 and well,actually i installed it sucessfuly a couple of times before and all the times when i restart the system it just doesn`t boot back again. IT shows me some kernel panic.Something about the Audio kext and the PCIFamily(iguess its the gpu) kext. (both compatible) The audio is Realtek ALC888 and the PCI GPU is an Geforce 240GT So i need a little help with some post installation process. I`m downloading and installing the 10.6.8 combo update and i`m about to use the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] process but it didn`t work before,but before i didn`t install the combo update. So tell me if this update can work my problems out. If not,what should i do? (except leaving the computer turned on for the rest of my life) thanks since now,just because you read the whole post. sirbow2 Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 not GFX related, KP caused by laoding voodooHDA when applehda still there. delete applehda from /system/library/extensions of the iaktos HDD put voodooHDA in there, prob already there though.
