Jedisinclair
I've read that the imic or imic2 by Griffin technologies works with 10.4.5 but after that, it doesn't... is this true? Has anyone had any luck getting imic to work with 10.4.7 ? Does it work natively or do you have to copy old kext files from 10.4.5 because that seems to be a dead torrent... I only have 10.4.6 and 10.4.7. I'd really like to buy the imic (it's 2 miles away) or I'm also considering external soundblaster (usb) but I'd have to order online as nobody in town has one. I need sound in which is why I'm looking for a usb card... any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance... Jedisinclair
OK another quick question: once I get imic to work (or soundblaster usb - which is where I think I'm leaning now) can you set up a program like audacity to record wav out mix? Example: record streaming audio... with windows, it's in the volume control settings... does mac have something similar?
