Hi all,

I think this is ATI issue. In Lion GM I patch AppleRTC to resolve issue with CMOS reset after sleep. But now have another problem. After wake from sleep, the display stays "Black", can`t get into Desktop.

If anyone have the same problem, please discus here if find a solution ..

I have an HIS 4670 and have a similar issue using Lion so I will post what I do and maybe it will help you. Mine actually happens at boot up where the screen is just black. There are two ways that I have found to fix this unplug/plug the monitor cable from the computer. Create a hot corner that puts the screen to sleep and then use the keyboard to unsleep the monitor. I prefer the latter cuz getting up and unplugging the monitor is just no fun and I'm getting to old for that. Hope this helps.

The problem is low performance after wake, that is massive problem.. If I wait about 1-2 minute the PC-Hacky wake .., but the performance is terrible ... I hope somebody will find solution for this problem ..

PP: In Lion try to boot just with GraphicsEnabler=y (without any AtiConfig).. I think you`ll not receive black boot screen ..

Or you can try to boot even without any GraphicsEnabler.., but in this case you`ll receive crash in few apps like Geekbench, DVD Player..
