Ok, so i have this vostro 1500 with core 2 duo. I installed snow leopard using iAtkos S3 V2 and everything went smoothly. After successful install it reboots. When it reboots, grey apple shows and wheel spins and it loads OS but, there is no video. I hooked a monitor to the laptop and when the chameleon screen show i press fn+f8 which throws the image to the monitor, not laptop screen, and grey apple shows wheel spinning and laptop screen flickers and SL shows on laptop screen. So everytime i reboot laptop, i have to do the whole fn+f8 for LCD and then shoes on laptop screen. How can i fix this. I have seen many threads regarding the x3100 but i have tried and when i try to download some of the files, they are no longer existent or have been deleted. Please help me with the best approach to fix the video on this laptop. Also, can i update the 10.6.8 using SOFTWARE UPDATE in SL?

This has been discussed a lot of times. If you bothered to use the search function, you will find that there is no easy route to fixing the X3100 on Snow Leopard, although it will / might work on Leopard.
