jadwv2210
Alright, I'm a super noob here when it comes to anything Mac related, but I am an experienced Windows user. I've read the rules, taken the tests, and searched Google and this forum tirelessly and I can't seem to answer my questions. I'm trying to make a Hackintosh with the following hardware: Mobo: ASUS P5P43TD/USB3 CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.6Ghz E7300 GFX Card: ATI Radeon HD 4750 HDD: 250GB Seagate(not sure what model exactly) I don't have a Mac to use, and I would like to install Mac onto my PC via a USB flash drive if at all possible. I can use VMWare to emulate a Mac environment however. If someone can link me to a guide somewhere I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. I like Iportable snow. don't know if you can install from vmware . I install on a usb HD with public mac. You will have to format a partion MBR journal. copy iportable to usb. open in vm use copycat to install iportablesnow .dmg then use bootfix. at boot use -f. I installed this on a dell desktop.Hp mini, lenovo 61t and others. takes a while to find right internet ktext. install ktext with ktext helper in the tools. or use kalway 10.5.2 on DVD, should boot up. -v-f Mac does not like AMD Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/260928-help-installing-osx86/#findComment-1704596 Share on other sites
sirbow2
you want to make a bootable usb install DVD? so just get into the VM of osx, restore the dvd iso/ Real DVD to the flash drive after you format it to 1 partition hfs+ journaled GUID. (disk utility) then install chameleon to the flash drive. put on necessary kexts reboot bot flash dirve from cham Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/260928-help-installing-osx86/#findComment-1704962 Share on other sites
