blingingtp
Hey guys. Just installed Leopard, and I was having a bunch of trouble with it. I figured out that the problem was with my Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Bluetooth Mighty Mouse, so I turned them off. Now, as soon as I turn either of them on, my screen greys and tells me that I have to do a hard restart. Does anyone know how to repair the trouble with these drivers? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26091-bluetooth-driver-crashes-computer/ Share on other sites
Adrian Fogge
You may want to try using Pacifist to restore your /System/Library/Extensions directory. Open OS Install.pkg from your Leopard DVD/{inst_source}, navigate in it to /System/Library/Extensions, authenitcate on your system, drag from Pacifist to Finder. blingingtp
I did that, but now when I try and use the bluetooth setup assistant to pair the devices, it will get to the screen where it says it's pairing with them and just stay there. Doesn't freeze, just never successfully pairs.
