Andrew+ Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 I have down a reinstall for my hackntosh. i use the mutli best method. i run update, multibest with easy install with audio enable nvidia and lan option ticked for my drivers, then use the offical 10.6.8 nvidia driver . then when i rebooted my boot screen stalls but boot loader still works enough to get into windows now what do i need to make my PC workable for 10.6.8 cause it worked fine with 10.6.7 spec: Video: nvidia GTX 470 Sound AL889a LAN RLT88xx linux to man lan driver CPU: i7 970 3.2 Ghz MB: Gigabyte EX58-UD4P thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/260826-1068-boot-stalls/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although a cleaner way is to edit your DSDT like LatinMcG said.
