Dear everyone,

I just succesfully installed OS X (I guess .. :D ).

But whenever I start up, I get some sort of stop or no-go sign at the grey apple screen. Anybody got a clue what this means?

config:

HP NC 6120

Pentium M 1.73, SSE2

512MB DDR

Intel GMA900 on 915 express.

Thanks for any help!

"Use the "-v" Option at the BootUp-Prompt to see (and post of cource) debug-errors."

Thats actually not possible. It just boots without asking for F8 or anything. I can only boot in verbose mode from CD, and when I do that I keep getting an additional software installer.

When you boot the computer, the screen turns black and then turns grey with a spinning icon.

As soon as the screen turns black, start tapping the F8 key quickly and repeatedly until you get a command prompt. You enter the -v there.

When you did the install, did you click the Customize button and select packages for your computer? You must select only Intel packages, not AMD and only SSE2 and not SSE3.

There is a little arrow beside the patches category that must be clicked to reveal the individual packages. It looks something like this:
