The file is 2 gigabytes in size and is meant to be a proof-of-concept. I used Linux to make it, but, I may have gone about doing it wrong. Tell me if it works for you or if it is put together correctly.

Out of interest why have you built this? You don't need it for VMware to run Mac OS X.

Hmm, sounds interesting though. And that because installing OS X takes a bit of time, so you install it on a real hard disk in VMWare, while your normal OS is running, and then boot the installed OS X for real (since it's on a real HD.)

 

Well, at least in theory it might work.

I wanted to create a pre-made image so newbies would not have to go through the process of learning how to use the command line. I did it using Linux to demonstrate that Linux can be used to install it.
