mmehir
Hi my name is Mauro, I'm from Argentina so sorry for my bad english... I have a PNY Quadro FX 3800 video card working in a hackintosh (dx58so) with an EFI string of Geforce 8800 and it's (FX3800) ROM NVCAP to enable resolution and QE/CI. But it's definitely not compatible 100% with the OpenGL implementation of this card or something (it hangs every couple of hours of using any 3D or video app like After Effects showing weird lines and bars of colors, even Quartz graphics are distorted). Also, one DisplayPort connector doesn't work if I plug in a VGA adaptor to the DVI port, just Gaussian/Static Noise, the remaining one works just fine. I tried GraphicsEnabler in chameleon but it doesn't support it (0x10de05ff) but it does support another Quadro models. So I open this thread to ask about modifying the ROM to make Snow Leopard load another Quadro model's kext (and make it work as a normal Quadro card with it's full OpenGL implementation), like the FX4500 for Mac or FX3700. I want to know if that's possible or i just resign the idea. Thanks in advance. makosx
Hola. Saludos.
