AMD patched OSx86 running on Intel P4

Well, I tried something today.. I don't know if somebody of you guys tried also before.

I have two Chiligreen machines, running with 2,4Ghz AMD64, 1024MB RAM, Gigabyte

Mobo with nForce2 Chipset. First I successfully installed the JaS 10.4.7 release on one

of these Computers... It works just fine! Getting 74Points on Xbench. Just the Installer

is making troubles.. so I have to use Pacifist. After doing that, I installed it on the

second machine... it logically works the same. But then, which is the interessting part..

I took out the HDD from one of my AMD64 machines... and put it in my P4 2,8Ghz

machine, with a MSI SiS 661 Chipset.... I was sure by doing that, it wouldn't work..

but it did! I put the HDD with my AMD64 OSX installation into the IntelP4 and it worked!

Before I have not been able to install OSX on that machine.. That's just amazing.

After that I tried the same thing on my Dell Dimension 3100 ... running a Celeron, and

it also worked with the preinstalled HDD taken out of the AMD64 machine. Except being

very slow, because it seems that only SSE2 is being used, it works very well. The P4

2,8Ghz with 512MB RAM is only giving 36 points in Xbench.. which I think is because

of only SSE2 being used. The thing which confuses me is: I used a AMD patch for the

installation... so I'm wondering why this installation is working on my Intel machines

also?
