Karottenkopf51
Hey there, I want to install my Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my pc using VMware. I downloaded the Darwin.iso and the vmdk files. I got the 'Disabled CPU Error' so I searched the forums for a solution and added the following line to my .vmx file: cpuid.1.eax = "0000:0000:0000:0001:0000:0110:1010:0101" It worked and I installed Mac OS. At the end of the installation VMware Player closed(I tried it twice!) and if I want to boot with the Darwin.iso it stands still on the apple logo. I tried to boot in verbose mode to get some informations and now I got this error: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out Is there a possibility to solve this problem? I searched the forums again but I found no solution for this on VMware. Here are my system specs: Intel Core i5 2500K ASUS P8P67 nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2x 4096 MB G.Skill RAM (10700) I'm using VMware Player 3.1.4 on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Thank you and best regards Karotte Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259714-cant-boot-snow-leopard-1063-on-my-vmware-player/ Share on other sites

Also you should use the unlocker rather than my old darwin.iso approach.
