I have a biostar TP43D2-A7 main board with a Realtek ALC662 sound chip. I managed to get it to work with VooDooHDA, but there are sound errors here and there and half of the time it causes a KP on boot up when initializing the sound chip. How can I make it work natively?

Strange, I never got a KP from Voodoohda before. Did you use the installer?

Also, make sure you put input gain at 0 and tick use SSE2 in the voodoo prefs to stop sound stuttering.

I really wish I could get back to using the legacy method with the stock AppleHDA but it is not working. Lion's HDA will need more than just bin patching.

Using Snow Leopard AppleHDA + legacy gives me a nasty KP.

I guess we'll have to wait till somebody finds out how to patch Lion's AppleHDA.
