Ok, so I managed to get iDeneb 10.5.7 to boot from my computer in safemode (-x), where I can do pretty much everything I need to do, to get it updated to Snow Leopard I think? When booting in verbose mode, 10.5.7 was giving me errors with my video card, ethernet, and sound, and eventually wouldnt boot up unless I switched it to Safemode, then it took maybe 2 minutes to boot. Since I have a 470 GTX, i'm guessing theres no way I can get any type of drivers installed to give me my native resolution? 1080p? With hardware acceleration?

I was told I need to be on 10.6.5 or later to get drivers working with my card, so I downloaded the ISO and followed this guide.

Everything went smooth until I had to use the Kext Fixer, which wouldnt create a new Extensions.kext. I read that the thing that mattered though was that it fixed permissions, and I could use my old Extensions Kext file, so I did that. Then I got to the DSDT Patcher, and it gave me a error and failed on the build, or something like that. I forced the compilation and it said Success but gave me a strange popup error, well I figured I'd continue on and see what happened.

So I got to this part.

copy your com.apple.boot.plist file to your current desktop, open the file on your desktop inside the text there is "mach_kernel" add .test7 to the end of the two words so it should now look like "<string>mach_kernel.test7</string>"

There wasnt any text that read mach_kernel in there, but there was a <string></string> where i think it should have been, so I added mach_kernel.test7 to it.

So after that I was all ready to reboot, went to try and load Snow leopard in safemode, and after the bootloader, or whatever the DOS loading part is, after that part it went to a black screen and there it sat. Tried to load back up into regular Leopard and it says I'm missing ACHI drivers now I think it was, which is strange because I never touched any of the file system, besides copy some files, not move or replace. Snow Leopard was on a seperate partition too.

Is 10.6.X only an upgrade option from 10.5.X? Is there any way to do a full install from a blank GUID to 10.6.X? And is there any options for me for graphics drivers with my 470 GTX in 10.5.7?

Sorry for all the questions lol, been trying really hard at this.
