Yes I have the 10.6.3 retail dvd, I have tried it with ##### (legacy), nawcoms boot cd, pirateefix and bootthink. I have also tried several distros (i hate these but its a last resort) including iatkos v7, iatkos s3 v2, kalyway 10.5.2.

No matter what i do i get an error similar to this attachment

I have tried both the L502x guide and the L701x guide but neither of them address my issue. I know how to google, I have been searching the web for the past 3 days, either nobody has a similar problem or those who do have the same problem have not been answered.

Well search for ACPI error

e.g. First link of the search I gave you

6. Use ##### Legacy to boot and choose the select USB drive to install with the following options "-v -f GraphicsEnabler=No cpus=1 busratio=20" .

I have done that. Like I said I know how to use google, I searched the web for days before I even posted here, the solution is not out there. What causes the acpi error is it the bios, the disc, the hd, other hardware?
