uckabee
I have successfully created my first hackintosh out of my Dell Inspiron B130 (1300) and I'm extremely pleased with the results. However, my intention for doing this is so I could create iphone apps, as I cannot do that on my powermac g5, but with my system only being 10.50. Can someone recommend me how to a.) update to 10.5.8 with the ToH RC2 version of leaopard and b.) upgrade to snow leopard on the same system? SilverXLB
I guarantee there is a tutorial for that 10.5.x to 10.5.8 update with toh rc2 but I warn you!!!! Updating to Snow Leopard is risky, you should better stick with 10.5.8 updating. If you plan on updating to snow leopard anyway, I advise you to carefully record your hardware. Also I recommend getting used to messing with OSX86 because you may learn something useful when you decide switch/upgrade. So overall I'm saying don't upgrade your osx86 to soon or you may just end up screwing up ok. edit links (do this first)http://insanelymac.blogspot.com/2008/09/how-to-update-105x-to-1055-for-osx86.html second:http://www.insanelymac.com/2009/05/update-hackintosh-osx86-from-1056-to-1057/ lasthttp://www.insanelymac.com/2009/08/update-hackintosh-osx86-1058/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258720-upgrading-toh-rc2-hackintosh/#findComment-1694627 Share on other sites

ifrit05
I used to have a Latitude 120L (Inspiron 1300), and it ran Snow Leopard just fine. Look up your hardware (dell.com, enter your service tag). After that get iATKOS S3 v2 and read up on how to install. Good luck.
