I have and evga 9400gt 512 that works with efi string. I'm trying to get this card to work under snow leopard and do 1080. I'm using a dvi to hdmi cable. Now, in the same box I have a hard drive with leopard on it and using MacNutty's driver I can get the desktop at 1080p using this cable, dual display the whole bit. When I try this using SL I get a black screen. I've tried almost everything so I'm hoping to hear from someone who has the TV out (s-video to component) *actually* working.

For the record I can get it to work under SL going into the tv using dvi out then with a converter on the other end going into rgb on the tv but that only gets me up to 720 and if i try to run more than one monitor I get the black screen.

Thanks.

I've got 1080p.

Remove your efi string from com.apple.boot.plist

add graphicsenabler=yes into it.

Should work now.

The only way I was able to get TV-out working on my PNY 9500GT 512MB card, was to use NVEnabler with Chameleon2 RC4 rev684 (GraphicsEnabler=No), and put my card's ID string (0x064010de) into the info.plist of NVDANV50Hal kext. Doesn't work with 10.6.8 though, or at least not yet :)
