smartie77
Hi, I'v installed a newly mac on my pc and everything is working properly but i don't got a internet connection i'v installed a mac on my pc bevore i belief it was 1.5.xx and my internet worked fine. But now i got no connection i'v googled it and installed some kext files but still nothing i'v manualy put a ip in but still no connection. I'v also installed the driver from the realtek site but it did not work. Realtek has Mac OSX kexts officially. Section "others". Did you look there ? this here for example I use for a Toshiba Laptop PCI-E internal 81xx card on 10.6.7, no Problems, even x64 working. It replaces /plugs into OSX own kexts, so its a good practice to reinstall the software after OS updates if it stops working, thats the only "problem" and only a rare one. PCI express Realtek Link : Realtek LAN drivers Win,Linux,OSX the PCI and USB section is elsewhere on the sites menu. Just flip through all "Download" options. I just noticed you said you tried software from Realtek, maybe the wrong or for older OSX ? remember that Snow is Intel only. Kexts for 10.3 and older will never work , because of PPC only.
