Hello Everyone,

Before i begin I want tell you something about my system

Now i got

Asus P5Q Pro (with the new modded Bios)

Intel Q6700

XFX ATI 5750

4 GB RAM

1x 160 GB SATA for my Mac System (I hope so it works i the future :D )

1x 500 GB SATA for my Windows 7

1x 750 GB for my Data

I have a MacBook Pro early 2011 too.

the steps with the usb drive i worked with my macbook.

Ok i tried a lot of. First I tested Hazard Osx 10.6.1 with #####. That was the only one how can install it, but not started....

The second test was the same Hazard but a newer one 10.6.6. This system wont to install. I cant started the installation.

And the last choice was an external USB drive with 40 GB. I do all steps from the tutorial http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=213336

But i came only to step 6 and the installation will be started but only to the step after choocing the language.

I´m really at the end. I dont know where are my problem know.

I hope you can help me.

Thx

In the BIOS:

Set the SATA controller to AHCI mode

Enable all advanced CPU features except CPUID Limit

Under Power Management enable ACPI 2.0 and ACPI APIC

A patched BIOS is not necessary to run OS X on P5Q series boards.

Use a suitable boot CD (one that uses Chameleon 2.0 RC5) and a retail Snow Leopard DVD.

Thank you for your fast answer.

I have the same problems, the settings do you post i had set bevor.

Then I do 2 partitions on the usb drive. The first i copy the chameleon bootloader and on the second partition i copy the retail snow leopard dvd. But it dosent work -_- . The bootloader boots but the unchanged edition from snow leo wont be boot with gui. I see only grey background and the mouse. When I accept with enter comes the wind wheel then i think iam at the language setting.

Only when i use

-v arch=i386 cpus=1 maxmem=2048 graphicsmode=1024x768x32

then i come to the installation menu with the right wallpaper from Snow Leopard and I see the differnt languages. After that my system stop the installation....

What is my problem??
