I've added the following lines to my com.apple.Boot.plist: <key>Default Partition</key><string>hd(0,2)</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> But neither the default boot nor the timeout works... At the Chameleon boot menu the bar (indicating the timeout) runs down, but it takes about 30 seconds. Furthermore the system doesn't boot automatically, which means that you still have to press a button... I hope that someone has a solution and I would really appreciate your help! (currently I'm using Chameleon 2 RC5 r828) And I don't think that the problem has something to do with the theme, because I'm using it on my notebook as well without any issues. (and Default boot + Timeouts works on the notebook) UPDATE: I've now installed Chameleon 2 RC5 r899 (the newest release I've found), but still the same issues... If so then it might be because the plist file you're editing may not be on the active partition and it's pulling the info from another SL install. Just a guess, but this was my problem when I had your issue. Because I've installed Chameleon on the stick and not on my HDD. CJP2 Posted June 5, 2011 Share Posted June 5, 2011 If you are booting from your USB stick then it is pulling info from the bootl.plist in the /Extra folder on the USB stick. Try editing the plist on the stick instead of the one on your hd /Extra folder, should clear it up.
