ldiqual
Hello ! I was able to set up Snow Leopard 10.6.7 on my Asrock G31M-S successfully. However, I have to disable Legacy USB from BIOS settings or USB 2.0 to make OSX start. Otherwise, I get a HPET error. I read on this topic that this issue would be related to a ICH7/USB 2.0 conflict. I also heard that it is possible to edit DSDT to maybe fix this kind of HPET error, but I really don't know where I should start from. So my question is quite simple: is this a hardware limitation ? - If yes, I guess I won't be able to solve it ... ? - If no, how can I fix it ? ldiqual
I followed these steps: - Removed EvOreboot and Disabler - Extracted dsdt.aml to /Extra folder - Installed Chameleon RC5 from here - Added the four lines you indicated I get a kernel Panic with the following content: This happens even if I disable USBLegacy in BIOS Settings, or use USBLegacyOff=Yes in bootloader options. If I restore Disabler.kext, everything is ok. Any idea ? Thank you very much for your great help !

ldiqual
Oh, sorry, I forgot to enable HPET in BIOS. Now, OSX boots with the new DSDT, but only when LegacyUSB is disabled in BIOS. When it isn't, i get a really weird Chameleon: I tried to enable the two options in Lizard, but it doesn't change anything (as I suppose they are boot options, it's normal). Any chance to get it boot with USBLegacy enabled in BIOS ? Again, thanks for everything !
