dsp
I have a perfectly good working hackintosh. Used a custom DSDT and now runs vanilla. I use a ASUS GTX 275 (896 MB) graphics card. I reach high scores with this card, and it runs games pretty decent. Sadly, OS X Exposé & Some other stuff can be very choppy. I googled for a answer, and led me to a command to turn off AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext which supposedly solves the problem on Nvidia based cards, but it didn't worked for me. So, I googled some more and came across another command to solve this problem. This command turned off beam sync, which eventually made things worse. I tried another command to turn on beam sync. It remains the same. I don't use much apps, and I maintain OS X with OnyX on a regular base. Geekbench score is 7151 (64-bit) Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. dsp
Problem solved by installing older chameleon bootloader. This must be true because the problem occurred after installing r861/r863/r873. What is weird though, is that it still claims to be r873 I hope someone could shed some light on this. Thank you. dsp
It wasn't the bootloader after all. It happens when you turn off beamsync. For some reason I can't get it turned on again.
