trying to get it installed says i need quicktime version6.5 or something but i have 7.1 and wont let me install but this only happens on the newest 2.1 i think but i can dl the older 1.6 and such but they dont work tho it installs them but when i go to the system pref it says i cant open it and need to call the tech support to see whats wrong

 

 

any help would be awsome

If in the preferences panel when it says contact tech support, probably that's because you installed a powerpc version of flip4mac. me too got the same problem and solved it installing a ub of it. And of course downloading a newer version of flip4mac if of great benefit cause 1) you got a better program 2) you don't have incompatibilities like with older versions with qt

I had the same problem. Here's what I did, and it was easy!

 

1. CTRL-Click (or right-click) Flip4Mac WMV.mpkg

2. Select "Show Package Contents" from menu

3. Open folder Contents --> Resources

4. There are two installers (end in .pkg) in there. Run one, then the other.
