Raj_1990
i installed snow leopard 10.6.7 yesterday using the nawcom method. it automatically activated my internet connection and asked for my apple id and password during the 1st boot. i provided all the details 'coz i have an apple account and it automatically filled all my details like name, phno, address etc in the next step nd also sent all my details to apple. my question is will apple sue me for doing this ?? 'coz i know by installing snow leopard on non-apple computers will violate all of apple's software rules...nd we have to note tha fact that apple sued a person just for leaking the audio interface setup of garageband which is of no use. we also know the fate of Gizmodo for leaking the next iphone prototype pics...he was sued and all his computers were seized....will this happen to me ?? please help....nd i will remove all the apple stuff from my computer if at all apple tries to catch me....plzzz...helpppp Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/257533-help-accidentally-sent-registration-details-to-apple/ Share on other sites

smartie77
forbidding Apple Software on Non-Apple-Hardware is no law, it's a wish of Apple and a statement in their license readmes that you behave that way. For Germany I would say Apple can f*ck themself with such EULAs. No way would that stand a trial case before german courts. Microsoft was already sentenced here to sell their OEM software in the same shops for everybody. Bundeling OS with Hardware is a no-go here. Apple has all my machine data, my personal info. I shop at itunes and appstore and I write reviews in Apples Shop and take part in Apples discussion forum. They let me as long as I dont shout out that a Apple device is not really needed.. and Apple knows that nobody needs their machines to run the software. Read Snow Leos EULA closely. They are aware of OSX86 ..
