Dunky2408 Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 Hello, i got a custom build PC, but i didn't mange to get OSx86 10.6.3 iAtkos S3 V2 working I got Windows 7 installed on a 500GB HDD (SATA2) And i want to install OSx86 on a 2nd HDD (SATA2) which has 80GB These are my specs: Processor: Intel Core2Quad Q8300 @ 2.50GHz (OC-ed to 3.00GHz) Motherboard: MSI P45-8D Memory Lover Memory: Corsair XMS3 4GB @ 1600MHz (Planning to upgrade to 8GB Corsair Vengeance) Graphics Card: MSI N460GTX HAWK HDD for OSx86: Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 80GB SATA2 Optical Drive 1: Samsung SH-S223L SATA2 Optical Drive 2: LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1673S ATA PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W Case: Cooler Marster HAF X Sound Card: onboard (I'm using Logitech G35 which has USB for sound) Mouse: Logitech G9 USB Keyboard: Logitech G15 USB Display: Samsung SyncMaster 225BW Current OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Ubuntu 10.10 (on an other physical HDD then Windows or the OSx86 but the same type HDD as the OSx86) Total HDD: 3 (1x 500GB and 2x 80GB Maxtor) I hope someone can tell my if i can use iAtkos S3 V2 and if so what configuration i need for it to work BTW i picked up while trying that i have a JMicron SATA controller or something like that, and network card is onboard with Realtek RTL8186 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But for now, stick with iATKOS. So... From the top of my head... AnVal, under Bootloader. Graphics Enabler, under Bootloader Options /Extra, FakeSMC, Disabler, RTC (64), Qoopz 10.3.0, EvoReboot, SleepEnabler, under Patches (if RTC panics, use 32-bit legacy) Jmicron SATA/IDE, under Main Hardware VoodooHDA (deselect AppleHDA) under Sound (for onboard) EvoSpeedStep, under CPU Power Management NTFS-3g (optional) For your ethernet, go to this page and scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom and download it from one of the server sites (site 1, site 2, or site 3).
