JustinHD
Looked around for a solution to this, but the ones I found they either did not work, or i couldn't apply them (switch to DVI for example). I think that some of the experienced OSx86 know about this problem: - basically when you change your resolution, either on desktop or in a game, the screen goes blank. I would have switched my card to DVI output but i only have a DVI/HDMI convertor and i'm using VGA/VGA.... If anyone has any idea....please feel free to comment. Gringo Vermelho
Two ways to fix it: 1) Buy a DVI-VGA adapter. 2) Inject a custom NVCAP value that swaps the order of the outputs. Forums search/google to learn more about NVCAP. I can't help you, I just know that it's possible. Krazubu
This problem generally comes from a wrong NVCAP or wrong display-cfg strings Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/257159-blue-screen-at-resolution-change/#findComment-1685065 Share on other sites
