In WindowsXP it says "Realtek AC97", in Linux its says "VIA VT8325" and in Mac OS X it loads the AppleVIA.kext. So while playing around I started the alsamixer (a commandline mixer tool on Linux) and I saw the following: What soundcard do I have?!!? So lucose wrote he got a running driver for the Realtek ALC250 but on my ????-soundcard its still the mono-sound-on-the-left-side problem. If please anyone who knows more about that than me could clear it up a bit?!?! THAAAANKS! BTW: Soory, typed in the wrong number in the topic title!!!!
