C.D.C
Im trying to make a flash drive to install snow leopard rather than burning the dmg to a DL DVD. Is there a way to make the install drive via windows? All the tutorials I have found need a mac and I do not have access to one. Hackintosh2000
Im trying to make a flash drive to install snow leopard rather than burning the dmg to a DL DVD. Is there a way to make the install drive via windows? All the tutorials I have found need a mac and I do not have access to one. First go out and BUY a retail copy of Snow Leopard. Its only $30 at the Apple Store. Then download the nawcom ModCD ISO from HERE. You can burn the ModCD ISO to a CD in Windows. You can then use the ModCD to boot your computer and then swap it with the retail SL DVD. Once you have a Hackintosh up and running you can use it to create an install USB. This is how I did it with my desktop. Check out my post HERE. Once you get SL installed it usually helps to patch your DSDT. Check out THIS THREAD for instructions on how to get your DSDT patched. A lot of people post to that thread and the guy is busy so do a lot of reading and follow directions before posting.
