petchy Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 Hi all, I am attempting my first from scratch Hackintosh build after my friend and I made a PC he had laying around for ages with (semi decent hardware) run OS X and had a great deal of success with it, I now want to build one for myself because he is keeping that one and this is my rough Idea for a build. since I am a newbie at this I think posting here for feedback is a good idea. thanks in advance guys my build is as follows Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-USB3-B3 Intel MainBoard (B3 Stepping) - 2x DDR3, 4x Sata, USB3.0, LGA1155 Graphics: Gigabyte ATI RADEON 5770 1GB, DVI, HDMI Graphics Card Processor: Intel CPU Core i5 2310, 2.90GHz, 6MB CACHE, LGA1155 Optical Drive: LG Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Burner (BH10LS30) Hard Disk: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM 32MB SATA3/2 RAM: Corsair DDR3 8GB PC-10600/1333 (2x XMS3 4GB) CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 Ram I know posting the hard drive and RAM probably isn't necessary but it couldnt hurt the more you know about my build. thanks guys Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/256676-newbie-attempting-hackintosh-build-needs-feedback/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
