naccettolo Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 Hi, I have a focusrite saffire pro 26 i/o that connects by firewire with my hackintosh 10.5.2. After I installed the saffire software necessary for the audio card, i launched it and the card seems to work (I can mamage it from the software and the audio card respond correctly). The problem is that I can't hear any sound!! If I go in network preferences firewire seems to be unplugged even if I'm managing it from the software. Any suggestion?? Thanks in advance. oztiz Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 Hi! I have a Saffire Pro 10. I guess it is basically the same configuration. You don't have to care about the network settings Go to sound settings and "Sound output". Can you see something "firewire" under type?
