wouwousoft
I never got my OSX working properly 100% and I don't feel like tinkering with it anymore so I would like to remove it. The default boot as of now is Chameleon where I can choose which partition I would like to boot (Windows or OSX). However, the problem is that the original Windows boot is gone and I'm afraid that if I format the OSX partition I will also remove my only way to boot into Windows 7. I've tried EasyBCD 2.0 to restore the original boot, but all it does is change my Windows 7 boot logo in Vista's and report errors. What are the steps I need to undertake to remove OSX and restore the original Windows 7 boot again? And where is Chameleon stored? On the OSX partition or on the Windows partition? Thanks in advance! rrprime
formating the osx partition will not kill the bootloader it is stored in a different hidden partition you can try booting from the win dvd and repair the system that should restore the windows bootloader Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/256531-how-to-remove-osx-and-restore-windows-boot/#findComment-1680673 Share on other sites
